Tester terms

These terms are between you and Eltio Studio Ltd [company number] while you test Eltio Systems.

The test

• Eltio Systems is free while you're testing it. We'll tell you before anything costs money, and you can stop at any time.
• It's an early version. Things may break, change or be removed. Please tell us when something's wrong or confusing.
• We may use your feedback to improve the app. We won't quote you or name you publicly without asking.

You stay in charge

• The app writes drafts. You check every draft and you press send. We never send anything for you.
• Totals, tax set-aside figures and the VAT line are guides worked out from what you enter. They aren't tax, legal or financial advice. Check them with your accountant.
• Keep your own records too. Your data is in your Google Sheet, so you always have it.

Responsibility

We provide the app as it is during testing. We aren't responsible for losses caused by a draft you send, a figure you rely on without checking, or Google being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit. These terms are under the law of England and Wales.

How we handle your data

This is our data processing agreement, in plain English.

• Who's who. You decide what goes into your sheet, so for the people in it (your clients and contacts) you're in charge of that data. Where Eltio handles any of it for you, we do so only to run the app for you.
• Only on your instructions. We use it only to show your dashboard and write your drafts, and for nothing else.
• Where it lives. In your Google Drive. We keep no copy. Google is the only other company involved.
• Kept safe and private. The app only sees files it created. Anyone at Eltio who helps you is bound to keep it confidential.
• If something goes wrong. We'll tell you without delay if we find a problem that affects your data, and help you deal with it.
• Your requests. We'll help you answer anyone who asks what you hold about them.
• When you stop. Delete the sheet and remove the app's access in your Google account. We hold nothing to delete, but we'll confirm that in writing if you ask.
