Privacy notice
Eltio Systems is made by Eltio Studio Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales [company number]. Contact: [contact email]. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office [ICO registration number].
The short version
- Your work data (bookings, holds, invoices and your settings) is saved in one Google Sheet in your own Google Drive. You own it and can open, edit or delete it any time.
- We don't keep a copy on our servers. The app runs in your browser and talks straight to Google.
- The app can only see files it created. It can't see the rest of your Drive, your email or your contacts.
- Nothing is ever sent for you. Drafts open in your own email app, and you choose whether to send them.
What we use and why
- Your Google name and email, to sign you in and show which account you're using. Lawful basis: to provide the service you asked for (contract).
- What you type into the app, such as clients' names and email addresses, dates, rates and invoice amounts. This is written to your own Google Sheet so the app can show your dashboard and write drafts. You decide what goes in.
- A sign-in key from Google, kept in your browser's memory only while the app is open. It is not saved or sent to us.
- Two small notes in your browser's storage: that you've signed in before on this device, and any sample data you try. No advertising or tracking cookies, and no analytics.
We ask Google only for permission to see and manage the files this app creates (the "drive.file" permission), plus your basic profile to sign you in. Eltio Systems' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We don't sell your data, use it for ads, or let people read it, except with your permission, for security, or where the law requires. Google's own privacy policy covers how Google stores your Drive.
Other people's details
If you add a client's or producer's name and email, you're the one holding it, in your own sheet. Only add what you need to run the booking.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how it's used. Because your data sits in your own Drive, you can also delete it yourself: delete the "Eltio Systems" sheet and remove the app's access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
